Subject: Logic 5 Install question
Message #211914
Hello, Sorry if asking a Logic 5 (for PC) is not relevant here, but I thought I'd give it a try just in case I get some responses. I have done a reformat of my PC and so I am now in the process of reinstalling all my software again. I can't remember what the best option is when installing Logic 5.5.1. I get a window about File Cache Settings and I have 4 boxes: 48-64 MB RAM, 64-256 MB RAM, 256 and More MB RAM and NO CHANGE. Now my PC has 1 GB of RAM so I guess the obvious answer is I tick the 256 and More box. But what happens if I tick the No Change Box? So what is the best one to choose: 256 and More MB RAM or NO CHANGE ?? I also get another thing I have to Tick concerning DXMedia Runtime Installation. It says it is not necessary to install for Windows 2000. I run XP PRO SP 2, so do I install the DX Media thing or not? Thanks in advance for your response(s) and sorry if the questions are banal.
