As indicated previously, I think it bears repeating again since others
are answering perhaps without this knowledge. The MacBook Pro requires
Universal Binary versions of plugins in order to work in Logic Pro.
Since the MacBook Pro is not a PowerPC processor, plugins that were
compiled for PPC cpu's will not work. Therefore, Logic Pro will not
try to authorize plugins and they won't show up in your list. This
compatibility issue is the biggest thing stopping me from buying a
MacBook Pro today (and I want one *really* bad).
