Today I installed the Feb 24, 2006 Mobile I/O Universal Driver Upgrade
(http://
www.mhlabs.com/metric_halo/download/mio_driver.shtml) for my Dual 867 G4
running
10.3.9 with MH Mobile I/O 2882, and experienced immediate (upon playing
audio of any
kind) and repeatable kernel crashes. I backgraded to the Mobile I/O MIO+DSP
v2.2 Update
from Sept 8, 2005 and system back to normal.
I have emailed Metric Halo support and will post any feedback I get.
Approach with
caution.
