Slightly OT but, just in case anyone thinks Dave is being anal: I was reading a donald Fagen interview regarding his new CD "Morph The Cat". Elliot Scheiner was engineering and Donald was saying: "bring the vocal up a tenth, bring the snare down a tenth" etc. At some point the reviewer divulged that "a tenth" referred to a tenth of one db.
