Subject: Noobish logic midi question
Message #207271
I am running logic 7 pro with an xstation 25 as my midi and audio in outs. I am running my midi out into a juno 106 in, the audio going into a korg ms20 as an external processor. I can play the juno with midi from the xstation and run the audio through the ms20 fine. Within logic I can run the audio back in through an audio channel fine. I have read the manual multiple times, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the midi notes in logics arrange window to play on the juno. there is a midi instrument made for the juno in the midi instrument layer. I make a midi track for it in the midi instruments in the arrange window. the only port options are all or x-station. the channels are all or 1-16. What am I not understanding? I can make the xstation's internal synth play midi notes from logics arrange window, but can't seem to make the juno respond.
