Subject: [LUG] editing automation curves in arrange window
Message #207204
hopefully an easy answer. i'm going through martin sitter's excellent apple certified training book on logic. and i'm editing pan automation using the hyperedit display in the matrix editor... making happy little curves, which dear reader requires one to hold down Crtl-Option and drag a line. switching to the arrange window, one can choose to view this same automation data overlaid on the midi region to which it corresponds. but clicking Crtl-Option brings up the magnify tool. there are some disagreements in key commands i've discovered while going through the book. so is there a way to create/edit hyperdrawn automation curves on a midi region from the arrange window or is the matrix editor's hyperdraw interface the habit i should acquire? thanks gang. along with reading the books, i've been lurking on the list as the logic equivalent of "hanging out by the bike racks behind the school where the smokers go" to learn the REAL good stuff from all of you. -n. nicolas dipierro < http://www.nicsonic.com >
