Just check the files the same way (apple + i) You will be able to tell which ones need to be changed like that. A 2 button mouse comes in handy, because you can just right click to bring up a menu with the command on it. > > And while I'm asking questions...just ran into some "consistent" > problems > while trying to learn a little more this afternoon...Quite often > (at SOME > point almost every time I work in LE for any length of time) LE > will not > "like" some key I've pressed or some command I've entered and it > will lock > up. This may sound strange, but I would recommend reinstalling your whole system: Mac OS, update it, Logic Express, update it. I had a new G5 have a messed up OS right out of the box, and doing this got rid of the crashes and such. Just a thought, if you don't have too many plug-ins. If now, it won't take more than a couple of hours tops. > > Also, I just tried to "test" something by getting my 5 year old to > sing one > of his songs. Don't add the plugin until you're done the actual recording. > > Thanks again! > > Darlene, Breakthrough Music Services > [Logic Express 7.1, Tascam FW-1884, brand new (refurb) power Mac > G5, 1.8 GHz > (single processor), OS 10.4.2 tiger, > 1.2 gig ram, 80 gig hd (160 gig ext. LaCie to be here tomorrow)] I did notice the FW 1884. Make sure it's on the FW 800 input, using a 800 to 400 cable. And make sure no other things are sharing that input. Should get rid of a number of issues. George ________________________________________________________ www.utopiaparkwaymusic.com Mac AND PC: The only way to fly 8-}
