So I'm using 6 different multi instruments for User/Preset Patches Expansion Patches Card Patches User/Preset Rhythm Expansion Rhythm Card Rhythm The drawback of this method is that you have to be careful not to select same MIDI channels for 2 or more of these multi instruments - they are actually the same hardware (=sharing the same MIDI port), so every time you select those tracks the XV alters its sound (if you set the program number in Logic's parameter box). The custom bank messages for the XV and expansion boards are written in XV's (and maybe expansion boards') manual. (If not, contact Roland.) Each expansion board has an unique bank select number, no matter where you install it. So, the object I made for Expansion (Asian instruments, etc) is probably useless for you, sorry. You can set multi instruments' bank messages at Environment>Options>Define Custom Bank Messages Tatsuo
