Ezz,
Yeah, I think this issue is found on other boxes as well as the Digi
002r. There's a whole way of delaying things in the prefs, but I
have always just adjusted the delay on the MIDI track itself via the
Delay parameter. It's been some time now that I've used an external
MIDI instrument so I can't remember if I had to delay it or advance
it with negative delay. So, I'm sorry to say I don't have your
answer. Nothing in the manual regarding the MIDI pref page?
Are you using the DIGI 002 for MIDI? I use the AMT-8 which has always
worked well with Logic.
A coupla years back I traded up from the DIGI 001 and noticed an
enormous improvement in sound quality with the 002r. Then, for a
short time when the 002r wasn't ready for Tiger, I used an M-Audio
Firewire 410 and it sounded incredibly crappy after using the 002.
Say what you will about the cruddy Digi drivers (and they *are*
cruddy) it is a good-sounding interface.
It's all working well now after the Customer Service (Pro Tools LE
6.9.2cs2) update.
I have not used the Pro Tools LE 6.9.2cs3 update which came out last
week. Have you?
Are you at OS 10.4.2?
