As far as I remember, ProTools doesn't autosave the very same file you are working on, it autosaves a separate file named *yourproject*.autosave.pts or something like that. It has been awhile since I've used ProTools, but this option was very handy a couple of times. We didn't have any crashes or blackouts (had UPS'es powering the gear) but sometimes, a guy would just come up and mess something up, and the autosave really helped to rollback. Would be great to have it in Logic. my two cents. Nickie
