Well, from my experience with Logic6,it auto save in case of crash.Once the
electricity of the whole block was cut off while I was mixing!! I was ready
to tear my hair but...I restarted my G4 and relaunched the song
and, everything was OK and just like befor the break down, thanks to Apple,OSX
and Logic!!
But,in case Logic crashes after a bad man¦uvre causing a kind of data
feedback (don't remember exactly the term:circular
"something"),Logic will
automaticaly save your song but, you'd better never reopen this autosaved
version, cause it is saved with the "bug" you entered.Go back to
the
previously saved version instead.
So,to answer the question,YES,Logic AutoSaveSong in case of crash and if you
want it to generaly save without using "Command-S" or
whatever,you'd better
ask it to prepare you a cup of coffee in the mean time.
Cheers,
Alain
