Hi friends, I'm running Logic 7.0.1 on a G5 with an MAudio Pro88 keyboard. I've been able to use Audio Instruments (all the factory patches and onboard instruments play fine), but I'm trying to understand the Audio Tracks. I can see some factory presets here (like: Male Ambient Lead Vocal) that are different, but I cannot hear anything. I can choose one and play a note and see it register on the tiny meter near the track icon, but can't hear it. I checked to see that "Software Monitoring" was on, and it is. I'd very much appreciate anyone's help with understanding what I'm doing wrong or misunderstanding. A lengthy tour through the documentation was frustratingly fruitless...
