Yes - when it's all setup and working correctly, Logic sends/receives LC-data to/from a dedicated LC Xmu software port, not directly to the MC. So does TotalMix. Then LC Xmu decides what feedback gets through to the MC for each host app, according to which faders are assigned to each in LC Xmu.
