It's not the PCI card as such that supports more than one Digiface. In
fact each card can support ONLY ONE interface (Digi or Multiface). So 2
x Digiface would require 2 x PCI cards.
It's actually the Totalmix Software that sees up to three PCI +
interfaces and turns them into one big core audio device.
I'm reasonably sure this is how it works although I've never done it.
