My friends are really envious of the ability to rip out the Powerbook from the bag and be surfing in about 3 seconds..... and no I am not talkin' it up. On my desktop at work (G5 2x2), everything goes all the time... the only energy saver feature I use is the 'monitor sleep', which helps to keep the LCDs lasting a bit longer when I walk away from them after about 15mins.
