We're talking about the main outs of the 828, right? (just checking)
There should be a way to set the 828 to a direct monitor function
where any input into the 828 is passed through the hardware to the
main outs. This may be found in the 828's software control panel.
You can also do this in software but the sound will have a slight
delay depending on the 828's Logic/core audio buffer setting.
Check "software monitoring" under the audio driver setup.
I'm on PC and an older version of Logic but I think most everything
is the same. I do know that core audio latency/buffer settings can
be set directly in Logic. Actually it's an adjusment of the audio
device driver.
