Not a dumb question. I would like to know how I *really* turn off all
kind of sleeping functions. I have a G5 desktop in another room, that
is used as a node. Every visible parameter which deals with energy
saving is off. The person on that machine just switches off the
monitor after work. And a couple of hours later I get the message
"Logic has lost connection to the node".
I haven't lost the connection to anything and there is no traffic on
the LAN besides broadcast messages. Same if I use an iMac G5 as node,
but behavior is slightly different: that one goes out of Logic's view
every second day or so. Are Macs known to take a nap when they think
the master is gone?
