Subject: Reason Rewire frustration
Message #198430
Hi Folks, Can anyone tell me why this isn't working: I've launched Logic (7.1 on 10.4.1) and then Reason (2.5) then, in reason added a Subtractor. Back in Logic I've set 2 audio channels to be RW Mix L and RW Mix R. In the Environment I've added the Rewire object (configured for Reason) and then added a rewire instrument and set the channel to 'Subtractor'. I then add a bunch of notes for the instrument. (in logic). Now I am expecting to hear the sound of Reason's subtractor being played back through Logic? That's right isn't it? I've followed numerous tutorials on this and yet I hear nothing? The midi is getting through to Reason because the meters are jumping in the mixer but I don't think the sound is getting back to Logic. I have had enough of banging my head against my desk for now and given up. I just can't see where I've gone wrong? Thanks in advance for any help and excuse the naff formatting of this message as I'm writing it in mail. Cheers Roger Harris
