Just make sure that you update the firmware of the unit to the latest version (1.07 last time i checked) and start the unit up in Logic Control Emulation mode by holding down the button directly below the third rotary encoder when you power up. The display should show your firmware version then 'LC' indicating Logic Control mode. The display emulator App is called LC Xview and is available to download (Demo) and buy for a very good price from here: http://www.opuslocus.com/lcxview/ the only problem when using this piece of gear with Logic pro 7 is that whenever you start Logic, you have to reset the 'out port' of the unit in Control Surfaces setup window before it will communicate properly. This does not happen in 6 though. I would say that the display emulator is a must have though, it gets confusing very easily otherwise. Plus with the display you have a fully functional Logic control (granted missing touch faders) for a fraction of the price! Although there is an easy workaround for the lack of touch faders if you're interested. As far a CPU usage is concerned, i can't really notice any difference at all, although i am using a G5 compared to a G4, but I wouldn't expect it to take up much, after all it is just MIDI... (i hope i'm not wrong in saying that!) Hope that covers everything! Feel free to ask more if you need to. Henry
