I use both Logic Pro, and Nuendo / Cubase, Live, and Reason.
Logic is the best app for music creation. It works pretty good, has a
huge amount of built in sound generation, and once understood, can be
quick, and effortless to work with.
Nuendo is much more track efficient, and works better as a mix app,
especially if you want to do any kind of surround mixing.
Live and reason are great for doing many types of creative things, in
ways Logic doesn't have or do. When I hit a creative snag, or wall,
opening up one or the other can let me "see" things from a
different
perspective.
So, to review:
Logic Pro 7.1, best for creation
Nuendo 2 or 3, best for mix
Live and Reason, good to reinvigorate ones creativity when stalled
with Logic.
Hope that gives you some insight.
George
