Street price is around US$1200 on the Netshell > APA32, with supposedly "70% of the processing power of a dual 2gHz > G5." For $1200...wow...I think I'd rather buy the $300 Dell, and run Wormhole to get plug-ins running via ethernet. Hell, you could buy the Dell, Waves Gold Bundle Native, and STILL save money! And you'd get a hell of a lot more value out of the PC than that proprietary box. Or why not buy an iMac for just a little more? Can't you use the MIDI networking and Networking AU plug-ins in Tiger to do the same thing? And of course Logic Nodes. Sorry, but $1200 for a dedicated PC just to run network-enabled Waves plug-ins is just way out of line. For $500 it would have been a great deal. But for $1200, no way. That's more than the UAD1 and PowerCore Element combined! Note to Waves: lower the price, then we'll talk. ;) Orren ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://www.mertonfolio.com Author of: • Logic Pro 7 Power - http://www.courseptr.com/ptr_detail.cfm?isbn=1592005411 • Logic 7 Ignite - http://www.courseptr.com/ptr_detail.cfm?isbn=159200542X • GarageBand Ignite - http://www.courseptr.com/ptr_detail.cfm?isbn=1592004741
