Hello, My colleague is having problems with editing automation in Logic 7. The problem is inconsistent, but common enough to make editing unreliable. When moving regions in automated tracks, and choosing to allow Logic to move automation as well, the results are unpredictable. One of three results occurs: 1. The automation moves correctly with the region. 2. The automation does not move at all. 3. The automation moves with the region, but a copy is also left at the original location. Logic tech support was of no assistance, simply suggesting re-installing everything! My computer with L7.1 is behaving fine. I wonder if this is a problem which results from upgrading a system from Logic 6 to 7? If that is the case, I would suggst re-installing L7, first removing all traces of L6. Any suggestions on how to quickly purge L6? Or any other ideas what might cause this? The problem occurs in every song, whether previous songs or even a new blank song. Thank you for any assistance.
