I'd like to try a summery from what I've learned so far here,
(Besides some massive reading and experimentation...)
1. Get a new external disc, reinstall the Logic version you once were
happy with and keep on listening to your old songs you've already
finished, that's why you put them there.
2. Write new songs right now, you've proven in the past.
3. Get more RAM, that's a conclusion here, I have the same computer
as your's, running 1 G of ram, no complaints.
4. If you feel you're having problems, have the machine running at 3
AM, that's the time Apple's own maintainance programs start to work,
Onyx is nixe and free, but not working in Tiger right now, as I have
posted before, probably there are negotiations goin' on...
my observation is, my apple's has been refreshed without deleting
anything you might need later...
If this gives you some confidence, make a habit out of running
repairing permissions before going to bed...
5. Do not delete anything, get organized in a 4 folder way, you might
make some money with that later...
6. Forget about crashes, they are past since OS X.4, but don't start
unless OS X.4.6
