Subject: Environment Transforming multichannel to single audio instrument channel
Message #183889
This problem is for the environment and realtime transform, and score gurus... I've got a piano score written on one arrange track using 4 separate channels to separate the voices (stems up/down) on grand staff score. I'd like to be able to take that track and have it play on different CHANNELS of a single MULTICHANNEL audio instrument (KONTAKT). I'd like an elegant way to do this using the special fader/Special/Transform Operation 1, but that only transforms operations on data, not MIDI channel. I'm stumped. I've found an inelegant way, which go like this: instrument->cable splitter->instrument set to channel 1->multichannel audio instrument ->instrument set to channel 2->ditto -> etc. Use CC to change to control the cable splitter out number to select playback instrument Ideas? Thanks, John
