Is it that hard to understand? Hm... I've must have been around computers for too long then... OK, this is how I interpreters it. You have this 3 locations defined: 1 ~/Library/Application Suport/Logic - this is were YOUR USER is storing HIS templates, this is the place were Logic first looks. 2 /Library/Application Suport/Logic - this is were LOGIC stores its templates, available for ALL users and are picked up IF a user haven't got his individual copy in the path above. 3 ~/Music/Logic - this is the place were Logic suggests You put Your songs in. So what happens is that when You ask logic to create a new song, it checks to see if You have a Autoload in Your path (no 1), if not it looks in the Systems path (no 2). Then it creates a SONG, based on that template. So when You wants to save the SONG it suggests the SONG folder (no 3) Now Logic doesn't understand that You are not doing a song, but creating a Autoload so You have to manually navigate to the place were Logic wants to find those. Apple could place a switch in the save dialog, save as Autoload that would place You in the correct place. But I guess that they see this as a seldom preformed task, and those of us that uses Autoloads a lot don't need small shortcuts that might confuse beginners... (Hm... what about holding down the Alt key, the Save as... could change to Save as Autoload?, Apple, please You can have that one for free..) Janne
