If I create an empty midi region on that track the freeze will play back all eight RMX parts. But I'm not using the RMX instrument track as "midi channel 1" for hosting RMX midi regions (meaning I never drag and drop parts from the RMX to this track). My set-up is that I keep the RMX audio instrument channel empty, except for the dummy region that will help the eight cabled midi tracks into the freeze file audio. Strange, but it's working perfectly well for me. I'm using the automation of the RMX instrument track to adjust level, effect send etc for all eight RMX parts. I like it this way and will probably stick to it even when separate multiple outputs from RMX into the Logic mixer will be fixed. The good side is that I can save my custom RMX effect set-ups and use them in other music applications as well.
