Subject: RE: L7 tempo calculation
Message #180788
From: "walterkoerte" <walterkoerte@...> Subject: tempo calculator Does anybody know how I can have L7 calculate the tempo (in BPM) of a movie file according to it's scene cuts? or is there any other software I need to get? Thank you everyone and good 2005 to you all! Walter Logic doesn't really have anything built in to do this. It is actually something I have been asking for 4 years. You can do it the old way(math). Sync the Quick time file to logic and place makers at the scene changes and methodically change tempos until you get the desired up or down beats, or you can get a copy the new Digital Performer which does have the exact module for this. It is called "QuickScribe Film Cues View." We need this in Logic. ~gary
