Per to the rescue again! Swede-Aid...... I see what you mean about recording midi and automation being different. I can play notes onto a track and record that no problem. I'm on Logic 5 (PC) so option 1 that you give isn't available :-( With regards to option 2: > 2) send the midi you have mapped to some > parameter by the Controller Assignment function. Could you expand on this? How do I "map midi"? Is the Controller Assignment function available in LAP5? Sorry, I'm at work at the moment so can't check.... but if so, how do I "map midi"?? Thanks man!
