Thanks for trying to help Antonio, but I already made sure these were tracks
with icons
checked. Quite simply, it appears to be another bug. And if I give up on
Logic, it's
precisely because I know exactly how good it is - or isn't. I've been using
it since version
1.0, and if I could afford the time and the money, I'd probably be opening
up a big box o'
Nuendo as we speak...
In my opinion, Apple seems to think Logic should be "Garage Band
Pro" - everything in
one box, no need for 3rd party plugins... Fine. But that's not what I want
or need. I need
a solid, professional tool for multi-track audio recording and editing. I
LIKE my 3rd party
plugins, most of which in my opinion blow Logic's stuff away. I'm happy for
those who
get excited by Guitar Amp 'Pro' and Ultrabeat. But those are features - like
Apple Loops
and Garage Bland instruments - that I'll almost never use. Meanwhile, the
features I DO
need, like Track Mixer, Automation and Groups, have been crippled by the
same bugs for
almost 3 frikkin' years now.
I sincerely appreciate your effort to help. Though maybe it's possible that
Logic isn't
quite as good as YOU think?
Grumble grumble grumble.... Curmudgeon mode OFF.
