Hi Jorma, As I mentioned quite openly in my original post: "I suppose that the only concession I can make to any blame on my behalf is for not saving my work out as a *new file* often enough, although I habitually save ("apple/s") my files every 5 minutes or so" However, I don't believe that not saving out a new file regularly constitutes this appauling bug being my fault. The fault lies purely in emagic's software, and my backing up (which I now regret not doing) is merely a way of protecting myself against this. Obviously, in future I will do this more often. However, this is the first time in over a decade of using Logic that I will feel the need to perform regular "save as" operations, as opposed to "apple/s". A sad indictment of the increasingly large number of serious bugs, I think. Paul -- Paul Zimmer ZAP! (Zimmer Audio Production) www.zimmeraudio.com
