Hi Ivan,
Thanks for this report! I think what it shows is very useful. It
suggests that while other applications may have more robust disk/cache
handling than Logic, it IS possible to get high track counts from
Logic, if willing to invest in extra hardware. Ideally, it shouldn't
be necessary to invest in extra hardware to use Logic at high track
counts if it is not necessary to invest in extra hardware to use
Cubase/Nuendo at high track counts, but it is good to know that it is
possible.
