Of course, only a couple of days after this post, they just announced Battery 2: http://www.nativeinstruments.de/index.php?battery_us :) (This isn't meant as a jibe -- I'm just on the one hand happy to see the update as someone who really likes Battery, and on the other hand, thinking that knowing that a new version is just about to come out might be relevant to the person who posted this thread initially.)
