Subject: [LUG] Apple's involvement in Logic development
Message #172120
This is a reply to #171856.
I am hoping Micheal Haydn or any other "insider" (loosely defined) can address this question. This question has lingered for me ever since Apple bought Emagic. I realize that Micheal (as an Apple/Emagic employee) may not be able to give out these corporate secrets. Anyone else? My question(s): How has Apple changed the process of Logic development? Is Apple actively involved? (i.e., does it direct how Logic should be developed? Does it direct what changes should be made? etc?). Or is Apple more of a passive investor? (I doubt this) Or, is it more of a collaboration between Apple and Emagic? Dave
