In Logic Pro/Express 7 we changed some detaisl: * the channel strip is always shown bottom-aligned. This has the big advantage that the most important elements (level meter, volume slider, Pan knob, Mute, Solo, Record, Mono/Stereo) are always visible and at the same position. * there is no more wasted space in the inserts and sends area Logic Pro 7 also has a new View option "Channel Strip Only". This is what you see on the web site screen dumps. > Also, I wonder if double clicking on busses and outputs highllights > them > there like they > behave in the Environment window? This is currently not implemented, and there is a reason: currently, the channel strip shown in the Arrange window is always linked to the selected track. What should happen when you double-click a bus or output no Arrange Track exists for? This would mean the mentioned link would be broken, adding confusion.
