Subject: stability probs with OS9.2 LogicPro6.4.2
Message #172052
I just recently ungraded to Logic Pro 6.4.2. for OS9 I'm running it with DAE a Digidesign / protools mix system All on a G4 dual 1g w. 1.2gig ram I'm getting frequent crashes. Especially when closing down logic .... I know that's been a common problem. But the program seems really unstable now. I'm getting a lot of pops and clicks from my vst tracks i'm running thru the ESB TDM and when I freeze tracks to free up the cpu the song often stops because of "hard drive too slow" errors. I love the extras in logic pro but i think I'm going to have to stick to logic 5 til i sort it out. Should I be.... Upgrading to OSX? Upgrading my computer? Ditching the protools hardware? What is the key to a stable set up???? Ideas?
