I understand you very well. But anyway, in my little experience, I've
seen grace periods working good only with Native Instruments, where the
costs are matter of upgrade of a single VST Instrument, like ABSynth or
Pro53, or the Komplete Bundles, that aren't upgrades but gorgeus
stocks, but that's not the L7 case. We're talking about a DAW, other
matter, other costs, and so on. Like all the business, it's a war.
Steinberg's SX3 Upgraders had only 1 month of grace period, and that's
all. But I don't think we have to be upset at all... Everytime I think
about ProTools users, I feel damn lucky boy... I'd have to spend the
whole value of my setup to buy a piece of hardware... And change to PC
world... Mah! I'm sure, the day when you'll select with your mouse
"Install L7", that you'll get rid of what you spent. We're
artists,
after all.
