Subject: Problems With Logic 4.0.4
Message #169727
After a long hiatus, I upgraded from MAC OS 9.2.2 to 10.3.5. I have been unable to get any sound from my Logic program. I have a Yamaha S80, the "midi out" of which feeds into the "midi in" of a "Moutu micro express". The out of the micro express is a USB which feeds into a 4 USB hub connected to the computer. The hub works because the printer and keyboard which is connected to the hub works. OK, when I start the Logic program up, it operates in OS 9 classic. Upon start up, I get a message "error code 205 was returned by the mac AV driver". In the "Audio Hardware and Drivers" dropdown screen, I have the following choices :"MAC AV (error returned), DAE ("DAE Program not found -43"), Audiowerk, Direct I/O, and ASIO. Bottom line is what do I do to get a sound from the S80 and from the program itself? I am not very familiar with the programa and want rto learn to use it. Thank you.
