Subject: Slap Echo in Record Mode
Message #169689
Hi All - I'm new to the group and it's nice to know I have a place to ask questions -- I just upgraded from 6.0 to 6.3.3 and now have problems with recording audio w/ a mic (haven't tried direct yet). As soon I press the "R" (record ready) button, I get a slap echo/delay sound in my headphones. The delay goes away when I disable "R". This delay continues during recording but does not show up on the track when played back. It's hard to cut a tight acoustic gtr. rhythm track with slap echo going on in your cans. This never happened in 6.0 and there are no plug-in or delays on anywhere in the chain - it's only happened since the update. Any solutions?? Thanks --- Dan
