Subject: Numerous Logic Problems
Message #169680
Hi I am using Logic Pro 6.4.2 on Mac 10.2.6. - Now everytime I start Logic, it claims it can't find the core audio driver (m-audio) - although i have not done anything to mess with this in weeks. Even when I reset the driver in the prefs, relaunch, and save the autoload, it still does it every time I open logic - Several times when I saved a file while it was playing, i got the music playing in an endless loop, but logic was frozen. I waited long periods and finally had to force quit out of logic - Then the file seems to be trashed - when I try to open or import, it gives me the beachball for 15 minutes - until I finally have to Force quit again (no command .) - numerous Logic crashes for no reason at times - I have the demo of FM7 and then I bought the real version but only one component appears (both lib and user/lib) but it appears twice in the AU list. I think this is more the fault of apple than emagic since I have AOL crash alot of times on my other mac running X. Any suggestions would be most welcome.
