Subject: make more audio channels
Message #169637
I'm new to logic, been only using it two weeks. I have found most everythingin the manual - but something I have not figured out is how to make more Audio Tracks. I have 24, I want a lot more. I was under the impression that Logic let you have as many as you wanted - though if you cloned a track and it shared the same channel, you could only have one sound on there at a time. However, I would assume you could have as many channels as your processor could take. I'm actually doing some audio editing right now, so I need tons of tracks that have individual controls (just like protools where you can set the channel (voice) to be the same, but you can control the track totally differently. Now, I'm assuming that logic's answer is "just make more channels and as long as they don't all play at once, you'll be fine." - is that wrong? - if not, how do I do this? if so, what is the solution? Thanks in advance!
