You have to make sure the incoming channels match the channels of the
recording tracks. So if you have channels 1,2 and 5 coming in and the tracks
are set to 1,2 and 4, then 1 and 2 will be placed properly and 5 will be
left on the active track.
Have you tried input of real, unprocessed MIDI data, as suggested ?

Which one ? 'One of' is a bit vague to implement and certainly vague enough
to bitch and moan afterwards ;o)

I'm not certain that's an 'idea' after all, hehe. They're not stupid. After
all the tears that have been shed on this, if it was only an idea, they
would have changed it long ago. It's more a symptom of fundamental data and
CPU management.
