Subject: RE: [LUG] Nuendo into Logic
Message #167669
This is a reply to #167656.
Hi George > OMF 2. Making one file with all the audio included. Make > sure you select all before you do the save as. Well it does not work here - I get an error code 205 in Logic every time I try and import the OMF file. Having spoken to support today, this is apparently broken in all OSX versions of Logic. Basically if the files being imported have more than a certain number of edits in them, the import fails (although it works fine in OS 9). As I don't have OS 9, the only way I can apparently do this, is to access the original project, remove a load of edits and then try again. What a PITA. > Not from Logic. Just use the freeze function. Heck, you can even do a > 32 bit freeze, as Nuendo 2 PREFERS 32 bit files. I'm going from Nuendo to Logic. I'll have to try and prepare the files in Nuendo and then bounce everything so Logic can import the files. Logic's OMF import seems to have been fubared in OS X for a long time now. I wish crap like this got sorted out a little more quickly. Thanks for your help. Jules
