This is a reply to #167644.
> 1) I would like Logic to have a seamless means to compare reference > mixes to my Logic mixes. With all respect, this comes across as outright lazy. If you want a system for reference mixes (which quite possibly very few people want exactly the way you envision), then go ahead and implement it. Whether this is a hidden folder with audio tracks, or an EXS with one song part per key, or something else, it's your choice. > 2) Audio Editor - the "ch" parameter where you pick the output > object to play through is absurdly unintuitive. Please change this > already! That's not exactly a strong point, and there's like fifteen reasons why it's a good thing, so you'd have to back up some more arguments to even bring up a discussion. And please don't yell. Nobody around here can implement anything for you and if he could, it's not your position to *DEMAND* it. > 3) Please put separate L and R panners on stereo output objects! Use UTM off and have not even two pans but stereo send as well. > I've even seen complaints of this in Mix magazine. So what ? > 4) Dedicated headphone mix routing schemes. Use sends. > (Ok, that one is straight out of Mix magazine.) Again, who cares ? Unless someone over there came up with a workable 'dedicated headphone mix routing scheme' that you can quote here, there's little use in parroting things one heard somewhere. > 5) Better note-taking tools within the program. Propose some. There's a million things that could be changed. Unless you lay out exactly how it could be done and why it would be cool not only for you but for everyone else as well (this part is the hardest, you see), there's no base for a discussion. > 6) Bouncing - will not include the sends to a different output pair That's how it works. Either route the returns to the same output or record the output of your desk or creatively apply the surround bounce. Christian -- homepage http://uk.geocities.com/christianobermaier/home.htm
