Subject: sustain pedal
Message #167608
Logic Pro 6.4 Oberheim MIDI keyboard MC 1000 and sustain pedal: I record a piano using an EXS24 Audio Instrument. In the score it generates not one but six "Ped" symbols confusingly attached one to the other and only one release symbol (*) at the end, when the pedal is up. This is an example of event list with the SIX sustain pedals 1 2 1 157 Note 1 G2 101 _ 1 3 9 1 2 1 223 Control 1 64 29 EXS24#1 1 2 2 13 Control 1 64 77 EXS24#1 1 2 2 44 Control 1 64 98 EXS24#1 1 2 2 73 Control 1 64 107 EXS24#1 1 2 2 104 Control 1 64 112 EXS24#1 1 2 2 165 Control 1 64 115 EXS24#1 My MIDI interface is a MIDISPORT 8X8 connected also to a 4X4 for a gigastudio PC. Same problem If I use a piano on MIDI Track connected to the Gigas PC. Thanks in advance for your help!
