This is a reply to #165838.

In general: No. In case you're using a mapped instrument, some of the names you're using in there will be displayed (the ones on your C and F keys). Rather lame, IMO, the virtual keyboard on the left should actually display all notenames and be resizeable as well (it'd need to be wider in order to display all sorts of names). The best thing you could perhaps do: - Create a mapped instrument, route it to your out (or virtual instrument) of choice, name things properly inside this mapped instrument. - Play each note (well, all the used ones that is) once and record it into one sequence. - Select the sequence. - Open Hyperedit. - Create a new Hyperset, name it properly if required ("Kit XYZ"). - Select "Create multiple event definitions" (or whatever it says in english). => All the note names of your mapped instrument will now show up in your new Hyperset. Of course all this only makes sense in case you're editing drums in Hyperedit, but as long as Emagic is too slow to create some (often wished) dedicated drum editor (which is the case since ages...), it's not a bad solution. Especially things such as building velocity ramps and the likes is working quite a bit better than in Matrix. Admittedly, moving things is rather diffcult as you allways have to hold down shift in addition to grabbing the note, also finer movements than what's given in the grid aren't possible (so /192 is the smallest possible movement). Still, in combination with Matrix it's not all that bad... Sascha
