Hi, Clive. As mentioned, I am running Logic Pro 6.4.2 on a G4 with 1.25 Gigs of RAM running on OS 10.3.3 On numerous ocassions I was actually not doing anything, believe it or not, when I encountered my crashes. On other ocassions (like, oh, yesterday, for example) I was doing a check on a MIDI track in my sequence window while looping four bars in the arrange window that had four audio tracks, two intruments (EVP88 and EVB3) and one MIDI track. It just froze. Completely. Had to shut down and restart. More than once (argh). Again, I don't know if it's a conflict with FCP (but I would think not perhaps), so I'm wondering/at a loss as to what else it could be (although I of course know that it can be an inumerable amount of things). I don't believe I have bad memory since FCP is running steadilly and has been (generally) since I got the computer a year ago. Any thoughts . . . ? Thank you for your response. Javier
