IMO the upgrade is worth the price if you only need any *one* single plugin, no matter which one - they are all worth US$199 individually, no doubt, so getting as many or as few as you need to complete the collection is well worth the price. The folks who truly got the short end of the upgrade stick were those who already owned *all* of them - Emagic should have made provisions for them.
