I am using Sonic Implants Strings with the EXS-24 and I am having some problems. I am using the string samples with attack control from controller #16, and Expression controlled from the Mod wheel. My problem is that my recorded midi track is not holding the expression or the attack controller messages. I usually record a little controller message at the beginning of each track with a mod wheel position and controller 16 position. So all works fine when I play back the track from the beginning, but for obvious reasons, I cannot always start playback from the beginning of the track to catch those controller messages. If I start in the middle of a track, I get completely different settings. Isn't the "Catch All" settings in Logic's preferences supposed to take care of this problem? I have it activated, but it does not seem to solve this problem. There must be a way to take care of this issue, or else these controller features of Sonic Implant Strings are useless.
