Right, I discovered this side effect between now and my last post. It seems like the Sample Delay plugin on the Master Output fader is my only option if I'm going to direct monitor. Oh, well, I'm still satisfied since at least I don't have to manually move tracks. You are right though, they gotta include an offset per input channel independent of monitor.
