What kind of performance increase with RAM increase on Powerbook G4 1.25?

Hi

I have the chance to get a gig of reasonable samsung RAM, taking my
powerbook G4 1.25 from 512mb to 1.25 gig, and am wondering how much of
an improvement in performance I will see in Pro. I'm running mainly
soft synths (including spectrasonics stuff and some NI stuff). In what
areas will the extra RAM improve performance?
